I got my first film camera (a ricoh point & shoot) just before a family holiday to Japan in 2003. My first photos were probably bad, but what I do remember is blissfully snapping away at minute details, desperate to capture moments and feelings -- the cold snow on Mt. Fuji, signs with mesmerising Japanese characters, the falling autumn leaves.

Just like how our parents’ generation had photo albums full of vacation memories,
this is my way of recollecting the moments and scenes I remember.
